Part Time Transportation Jobs description
A part time transport professional prepares and maintains office documents, reports, technical and automated files and records, schedules & dispatches all motor vehicles, compiles reports, coordinates maintenance & tracks utilization, keeps automated data system updated with required information, reports on transfer of vehicles, prepares replacement requisitions and coordinates vehicle management activities. He/she arranges all modes of transportation via air ambulance, commercial air, taxi, ambulance, bus and independent transports and corresponds with physician, traveler, and vendor to determine the most dependable and economical mode of transportation and prepares documentation/scheduling for the traveler according to government rates.A part time transport professional prepares data for correspondence, meetings, reports and reviews and initiates correspondence, assigns mail controls, maintains record and files and ensures timely response to internal and external customers. A part time transport professional should possess knowledge of travel rules and regulations regarding legal entitlement to travel reimbursement, validation, control and maintenance of accounting records for numerous travel accounts. This position demands the ability to communicate effectively and dexterity in operating a computer for retrieval of information, generation of reports, and data entry, including using personal computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing and database systems.
