SeniorBridge private pay home care is seeking RNs dedicated to delivering the highest quality in-home care to complex chronically ill seniors. SeniorBridge is Humana's wholly owned home care business acquired in 2012. We provide concierge care management, private duty nursing, and personal care assistance services to seniors.
Responsibilities
This is a terrific opportunity to get to know patients and their families personally and provide focused care without the rush and multi-tasking required in other care settings.
Infusion services are provided one-on-one, in-home and each visit takes about 2-3 hours. Work as little or as much as your schedule allows. Current need is PRN, but this could become a Full-Time position over time.
You should be confident and competent at starting an IV unassisted within 2 attempts. Effective listening is critical to the job, as well as customer service orientation.
Clients are mostly in Fort Myers, but there are some in other parts of Lee County. We will pay for your time and reimburse for mileage.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse with active, unrestricted Florida RN licensure
Minimum one year nursing experience with a minimum of one year infusion/IV experience
Experience working with the adult population
Ability to travel to member's residence within Collier County
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
Ability to work with minimal supervision within the role and scope
Ability to use a variety of electronic information applications/software programs including electronic medical records
Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
This role is a part of Humana's Driver Safety program and therefore requires and individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,00 limits.
This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana At Home's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
Associates working in the State of Florida will need ACHA Level II Background clearance
We will require full COVID vaccination (**** for this job as we are a healthcare company committed to putting health and safety first for our members, patients, associates and the communities we serve. This job requires close personal interaction with patients. You will not be able to social distance.
If progressed to offer, you will be required to provide proof of full vaccination where allowed by law. Medical and religious exemptions will be considered on a case by case basis. Requests for these exemptions should be submitted at least 2 week prior to your scheduled first day of work.
