Part Time Insurance Jobs description
The primary functions of a part time insurance professional is developing and implementing policies and procedures and guidelines in accordance with the type of insurance, conducting research and development activities in this field, developing policy and procedures to grant license to agents and brokers and administer insurance laws and regulations. A part time insurance professional should review actuarial certificates of life and non-life insurance products and prepare the reports accordingly as well review the financial position of the life and composite insurers. It is the responsibility of a part time insurance professional to act as a consultant and advisor in respect of insurance matters and ensure that activities such as collection of premiums, recording claims reserves, payment of commission and brokerage fees, arrangement of reinsurance protection and making reinsurance recoveries as well as issuance of debit and credit notes is carried out efficiently and in time. He/she has to ensure that companies comply with the rules and regulations.A degree in insurance management is required for this position along with good understanding and knowledge of legal procedures.
